Interface Box for Polycom TPH900 – Compact. Versatile. Ready for use.

Our Interface Box was specially developed for the Polycom TPH900 handheld radio and is aimed at professional users such as police forces, security services and official task forces with increased communication needs.

In contrast to conventional monophones, the Interface Box scores with its compact, robust design, which enables inconspicuous and close-fitting attachment to vests or uniforms – a decisive advantage in dynamic operational situations.

A central feature is the integrated PTT (Push-to-Talk) button on the front of the box. This positioning allows particularly ergonomic operation with the index finger – quick, comfortable and reliable, even with gloves.

For maximum flexibility, the Interface Box is equipped with a 3.5mm jack. This allows various types of earphones – such as acoustic tube systems, flexi earphones or other models established in police service – to be connected, provided the pin assignment is compatible. In addition, a 2.5mm jack is available for connecting an external PTT button, which further facilitates use in covert or semi-covert conditions.

Optionally (for the L500 and L700 versions), the Interface Box is also available with a reinforced radio cable variant. This version significantly increases mechanical durability and is particularly suitable for wearing on safety vests or for use in demanding operational environments with increased tensile and mechanical stress. However, due to the larger cable diameter, this variant does not include the 2.5 mm socket on the underside of the Interface Box for connecting an additional external PTT button. The robust cable design therefore offers enhanced stability at the expense of a reduced connection option.
